Glazed Redware Presentation Bank, Inscribed "H. Hiell," American, 19th century, ovoid form with footed base, tooled shoulder, pointed finial, and horizontal slot, the surface covered in a heavy lead glaze. Incised on reverse shoulder with the name, "H. Hiell." A chip to finial. Two base chips and a minor base nick. In-the-firing clay residue to one side. Light wear to slot. Minor glaze wear to shouldr. Some in-the-firing dryness to glaze on reverse. H 5 1/2".
