Glazed Redware Jar, New England origin, early to mid 19th century, ovoid jar with footed base, unusual flaring semi-squared rim, and arched tab handles, the surface featuring a flowing, mottled lead-and-manganese glaze to the exterior, cream and reddish hues to the interior of the rim, and reddish coloration to the interior. Chips to handles. Light surface wear around midsection. Minor rim chips. Light wear to inner rim for lid. H 9 1/2".
