Glazed Redware Jar, Bristol County, MA origin, late 18th or early 19th century, highly-ovoid jar with footed base and short, flaring rim, the lead-glazed surface decorated with flowing streaks of manganese over a light orange ground. Surface wear around body of jar. Rim chips. Light wear to interior of rim and inner rim for lid. H 7 3/4".
