Two Glazed Redware Jars, Bell Pottery, Waynesboro, PA, 19th century, an unusual, small-sized jar with semi-rounded rim and lead-glazed surface, stamped "JOHN BELL / WAYNESBORO'," circa 1850-1880, paired with an ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, semi-squared rim, and lead-glazed surface, stamped "JOHN W. BELL / Waynesboro, Pa.," late 19th century. Smaller with a 1 1/8" rim chip, a 1 1/4" hairline from rim, and some minor rim wear. Larger in excellent, essentially as-made condition with a minor chip to underside. H (of smaller) 4".
