Very Rare Miniature Redware Dish, Stamped "JOHN BELL / WAYNESBORO'," PA origin, circa 1850-1880, with rounded sides and coggled rim, the interior coated in a clear lead glaze. Exceptional size, possibly made for a child's use. Provenance: From a forty-five-year VA collection, acquired by the consignor at Crocker Farm, Inc., July 17, 2004, lot 191. One minor rim chip and some eating utensil marks to interior. H 1 3/8" ; Diam. 4 1/2".
