Large-Sized Tanware Pitcher, Greensboro or New Geneva, PA origin, circa 1885, ovoid pitcher with tall, tapering collar and tooled rim, Albany-slip-decorated on the front with a large tulip blossom emanating from an undulating vine. Additional tulip motifs to collar. Stripe decoration to midsection, spout, and handle. Spout with a 1" flake, a minor chip, and tiny nick. An approximately 2" horizontal surface crack to rim on proper left side of pitcher's front, including some shallow chipping. H 8 1/2".
