Stoneware Canning Jar with Cobalt-Stenciled Pear Motif, Stenciled "PALATINE POTTERY CO / PALATINE / WVA," circa 1875, tapering jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded "wax sealer" rim, featuring Palatine Pottery Company maker's stenciling surrounding a stenciled design of a pear. Excellent condition with a few small chips to interior of rim. H 8 7/8".
