Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar with Huntington, WV Advertising, Western PA origin, circa 1880, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, featuring the stenciled advertising, "HAGAN BROS., / DEALERS IN / STOVES AND / HARDWARE. / HUNTINGTON, W. VA." A few small chips to interior of rim. Two additional chips to inner rim for lid. Missing "B" in "BROS." stencil. A 2 1/4" vertical hairline at base on reverse. H 9 3/4".
