Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Western PA origin, circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, brush-decorated with four horizontal tulip motifs between two freehand stripes. Significant staining to surface. Shallow chipping around base. A chip to base of rim on reverse. A small chip to interior of rim. A small in-the-making dent near base on reverse. H 12".
