Stoneware Canning Jar with Cobalt Stripe Decoration, Western PA origin, circa 1880, tapering jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded "wax sealer" rim, decorated with four freehand stripes. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with a salt drip near base and a drip of staining to midsection. H 8 1/8".
