Five-Gallon Cobalt-Stenciled Stoneware Jar, Stenciled "A.P. Donaghho, / Parkersburg, W. Va.," circa 1880, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and ribbed lug handles, featuring a stenciled "5" flanked by geometric banding, two rows of geometric banding below, and A.P. Donaghho maker's stenciling at base. Excellent condition with a small chip and 3/4" surface line to proper right handle, and some minor staining and old paint residue. Rim is somewhat out-of-round. H 15 1/4".
