Three-Gallon Stoneware Cake Crock with Cobalt Floral Decorations, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1880, wide, low cylindrical form with squared rim and arched tab handles, brush-decorated on the front and reverse with two horizontal clover motifs. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. A 1 1/8" in-the-firing ping (chip) to rim. A faint 4" hairline from rim. A few minor chips to interior of rim. H 7 1/4" ; Diam. 13".
