Fine Two-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1820, thin-walled, ovoid pitcher with footed base and tooled collar, decorated around the body with a slip-trailed design of a daisies conjoined by draped stems with upswept swags. Wavy line decoration to collar. Brushed cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with some minor in-the-firing flaws, including some bloated spots, two contact marks, and tiny pings. H 14".
