Scarce One-Gallon Stoneware Milkpan with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Henry Harrison Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1860, wide, flaring form with squared rim and pouring spout, brush-decorated with fanned floral motifs around the body. A lesser-seen form in Philadelphia stoneware production. A few faint surface lines. Two minuscule rim nicks. Mottling to Albany slip on interior, as-made. Diam. 9 3/4" ; H 3 5/8".
