Rare Manganese-Decorated Redware Bedpan, Inscribed "George Truschey / Potter," probably Pennsylvania origin, 19th century, wheel-thrown pan with tubular spout, featuring a streaky lead-and-manganese glaze. Underside incised with the signature, "George Truschey / Potter," a still-unidentified potter. Very nice condition with some small chips and glaze wear to spout and interior of rim. L 13".
