Fine Six-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Flowering Urn Decoration, Stamped "F.B. NORTON & CO. / WORCESTER, MASS.," circa 1870, cylindrical crock with semi-rounded rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a cross-hatched urn with open handles, brimming with flowers, leaves, and spotted trails. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. A 3 3/4" hairline from rim on front. Rim chips. A few small, in-the-firing pings. H 13".
