Slip-Decorated Redware Loaf Dish, PA origin, second quarter 19th century, oval form with coggled edge, the lead-glazed interior decorated with three groups of wavy trails in yellowish-orange slip. Provenance: A prominent Mid-Atlantic collection. A 5" crack from edge. A thin 2" crack from edge. Rim with wear and a few small chips. A few minor in-the-firing pings to interior. L 13".
