Slip-Decorated Redware Loaf Dish, PA origin, second quarter 19th century, oblong form with rounded corners and coggled edge, the lead-glazed interior profusely-decorated with wavy trails in yellow slip and two foliate devices. Provenance: A prominent Mid-Atlantic collection. A thin 7 1/2" crack from edge. Rim chips. Light wear to interior. L 13 1/2".
