Manganese-Decorated Redware Jug, PA origin, 19th century, highly-ovoid jug with footed base, rounded spout, and ribbed handle, the lead-glazed surface decorated with heavy manganese sponging over a mottled orange and green ground. Chipping around base. Some surface wear, primarily around midsection. Small chips to handle. H 10".
