Manganese-Decorated Redware Ring Jug, PA origin, 19th century, wheel-thrown, ring-shaped jug with flattened base and applied pouring spout, decorated with heavy daubs of manganese under a clear lead glaze. Very nice condition with an in-the-firing, glazed-over surface line at base and some wear to spout. H 8 1/4".
