Scarce Redware Dish with Elaborate Three-Color Slip Floral Decoration, Dated 1825, Eastern PA origin, 1825, flaring form with footed base and semi-rounded rim, decorated in cream, copper, and manganese slip with a slip-trailed flowering plant including the date, "1825," within a daisy-shaped blossom. Design is bordered by a series of cream-colored slip lines flanking a wavy manganese line. Lead-glazed interior. Old, smooth rim chips. In-the-firing pings to interior and exterior.
