Multi-Glazed Redware Cream Pitcher, attributed to S. Bell & Sons or J. Eberly & Co., Strasburg, VA, circa 1890, ovoid form with footed base and short, flaring collar, the lead-glazed surface decorated with copper, manganese, and cream-colored slip. Very nice condition with minor to small flaws. Three in-the-firing contact marks to top of rim. A few small nicks to spout. An in-the-firing contact mark to handle and foot. Very minor paint residue to front. Some light staining to foot. H 6 3/8".
