Salt-Glazed Stoneware Jug with Incised Name, NC origin, circa 1880, cylindrical jug with tooled spout and wide, ribbed handle, incised at the shoulder, "Jane(?) followed by an indecipherable last name. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with a tiny in-the-firing fissure through spout. H 12 1/4".
