One-Gallon Salt-Glazed Stoneware Jug, Stamped "J.D. CRAVEN," Randolph and Moore Counties, NC, second half 19th century, ovoid jug with wide strap handle and tapered spout molding, the surface covered in a salt glaze. Impressed with Jacob Dorris Craven maker's mark on reverse. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with a salt drip to spout. H 11".
