Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Stripe Decoration, probably Palatine, WV origin, circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, brush-decorated with four thick stripes extending two-thirds of the way around the vessel. Excellent condition with some staining and two in-the-firing surface fissures to underside, not visible on interior. H 10".
