One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Pitcher, Stenciled "A.P. DONAGHHO / Parkersburg, W. Va.," circa 1880, semi-ovoid pitcher with flared collar and angled rim, featuring A.P. Donaghho maker's stenciling below a stenciled vine motif. Stylized stenciled flower blossoms to sides of collar. A thin 5 1/2" crack from rim on side of pitcher. Spout chips. A 3/4" chipped section to rim on reverse. Spots of staining to proper left side. H 11".
