Two-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar with Stenciled Rose Motif, Stenciled "Wilkinson & Fleming / Shinnston W. VA.," circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and flattened rim, featuring a stenciled design of a rose surrounded by Wilkinson and Fleming maker's stenciling. Stenciled wheat motifs and "2" above. Freehand stripes to shoulder. Some surface wear. A tight X-shaped line across underside. H 12".
