Rare and Fine Quart-Sized Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to J. Swank & Co., Johnstown, PA, circa 1875, ovoid pitcher with tall, flaring collar, brush-decorated with two tulips ascending the front. Swag decoration to collar and flanking the spout. Three cobalt spots at base of handle. The smallest Swank pitcher that we have ever offered. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with some old residue to surface. H 6 1/2".
