One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jug, Stenciled "T.F. REPPERT. / SUCCESSOR TO / J. HAMILTON & CO / GREENSBORO . PENN.," circa 1880, ovoid jug with tooled spout, featuring desirable T.F. Reppert "SUCCESSOR TO" maker's stenciling within a shield flanked by floral motifs. A few chips to molding at base of spout. A few small in-the-firing contact marks to surface. H 11 1/2".
