One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stenciled "JAS. HAMILTON & CO. / GREENSBORO. PA.", circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, featuring bold curved James Hamilton maker's stenciling surrounding a leaf. A few small rim chips. Otherwise original, as-made condition. H 9 1/4".
