Small-Sized Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Foliate Decoration, Northeastern U.S. origin, second quarter 19th century. A large restored section to exterior of rim. Some crazing to surface and handle. Staining, two salt drips, and an in-the-firing chip to surface. A tiny nick to cobalt on base of handle. Two minor chips to underside, likely in-the-firing. H 8 1/4".
