Stoneware Jug with Incised Daisy Decoration, Albany, NY area, circa 1815, highly-ovoid jug with tooled shoulder and semi-squared spout, decorated with an incised and cobalt-highlighted design of a daisy with scalloped leaves. Brushed cobalt highlights to handle terminals. A large amount of old restoration paint to midsection downward indicates restoration to jug, the extent of which is unknown. H 16 1/4".
