One-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "JORDAN," NY State origin, circa 1840, ovoid jug with tapered spout, brush-decorated with tulip and swag motifs. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark, capacity mark, and handle terminals. Partially-restored cracks, including some touch-up to cobalt. H 12".
