Lot of Five Primarily Oyster Jars, American, late 19th and early 20th centuries, a small salt-glazed oyster jar, stamped "ALFRED JONES' SONS / BANGOR MAINE," New England origin, fourth quarter 19th century; a Bristol-slip-glazed oyster jar, marked "ALFRED JONES SONS, / Oyster House. / BANGOR, MAINE," early 20th century; a small brown-and-white oyster jar, marked "JONES / OYSTER HOUSE, / BANGOR, ME," early 20th century; a brown-and-white oyster jar, marked "OYSTERS. / H.C. HASKELL / WATERVILLE, ME;" and a brown-and-white jug, marked "Greensburg Distilling Co. / Greensburg, - Pa. / Registered," early 20th century. Salt-glazed jar with a 1 1/4" line from rim. Small brown-and-white oyster jar with a faint 1 3/4" line from rim. Large brown-and-white oyster jar in excellent condition. White-glazed oyster jar with wear to rim. Greensburg, PA jug in excellent condition with some staining. H (of salt-glazed example) 5 1/4".
