Two Pieces of Central PA Stoneware, second half 19th century, a half-gallon pitcher with brushed design of a tulip, stamped "COWDEN & WILCOX," Harrisburg, PA, circa 1865; paired with a half-gallon jug with brushed tulip motif, attributed to H.B. Pfaltzgraff, York, PA, circa 1870-1889. Pitcher with wear chipping to spout and rim, a 5" L-shaped crack to left side. Jug with a glued-in lamp insert at spout, minor firing imperfections. H (of jug) 9 1/2".
