Three Pieces of Salt-glazed Stoneware, Central PA origin, second half 19th century, a one-gallon ovoid jug with brushed cobalt tulip motif, stamped "COWDEN & WILCOX / HARRISBURG. PA," circa 1865; an undecorated and unmarked batter pail with wooden lid and stirrer; and a foliate-decorated apple butter jar. Jug with wear around midsection and spout chips. Batter pail with a chip to spout, a thin 1 1/2" crack from rim, and a chip to proper left applied ear. Jar missing handle, with rim chips and a glazed-over rim dent, and some staining. H (of tallest) 11 1/2".
