Two-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1885, ovoid pitcher with footed base and short, flaring collar, brush-decorated with a triple-blossomed tulip plant ascending the front. Swag decoration to collar. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Four restored cracks descending from rim to shoulder, affecting some of the swag decoration at the shoulder, but not the tulip motif on the front. H 13 3/8".
