Scarce One-Gallon Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Jug, Stamped "T," Shimuel Timmerman, Lanier County, GA, circa 1880, cylindrical jug with semi-rounded spout and distinctive pulled handle, the surface covered in a mottled olive-colored alkaline glaze. Impressed "T" on handle. A 3 1/4" vertical hairline to shoulder adjoining an approximately 5 3/4" line at shoulder. H 11".
