Rare Redware Hand-Form Bottle, American, 19th century, slip-cast bottle in the form of a clenched fist with protruding thumb forming the spout. Surface covered in a colorful mottled lead-and-manganese glaze. The first example of its type that we have offered. Excellent condition with minor wear to spout and extremely minor wear to base. H 5 1/4".
