Two Pieces of Speese Redware with Cold-Painted Surfaces, Gettysburg, PA origin, fourth quarter 19th century, a ewer painted in shades of blue, stamped "SPEESE & SON / GETTYSBURG, PA. / 12;" paired with an ovoid face with brown-and-yellow-painted surface, stamped "SPEESE." Both in excellent condition with some paint wear. H (of ewer) 11 1/4".
