Glazed Redware Mug, Stamped "JOHN BELL," Waynesboro, PA origin, circa 1840-1880, cylindrical form with footed base and tooled rim, the surface decorated with sponged manganese over a yellowish ground and covered in a clear lead glaze. Very nice condition. Wear to rim and edges of handle. Base with minor wear and a minor chip. H 4 3/8".
