Glazed Redware Jar, Stamped "JOHN W. BELL / Waynesboro, Pa.," circa 1880, bowl-shaped, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder and semi-squared rim, the surface covered in a reddish-brown lead and manganese glaze. A small rim chip. A minor in-the-firing contact mark to rim. Wear to rim. H 4 3/4" ; Diam. (at rim) 6".
