Rare Glazed Redware Figure of a Bird, attributed to John Bell, Waynesboro, PA, circa 1850-1880, molded figure of a bird with hand-incised details to eyes, wings, and tail, perched on a flaring base. Surface covered in mottled lead and manganese glaze. Hollowed underside/interior. Excellent condition with some light glaze wear to beak and some typical, minor in-the-firing contact marks to underside. H 4 1/2".
