Scarce Small-Sized Multi-Glazed Redware Cream Jar, attributed to S. Bell & Sons, Strasburg, VA origin, circa 1890, ovoid jar with semi-rounded rim, the surface dipped in cream-colored slip, decorated with splashes of copper and manganese, and covered in a clear lead glaze. Exceptional size. Excellent condition with some light surface wear. H 5".
