Half-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1830, ovoid jar with footed base, flared collar, and arched tab handles, brush-decorated with a curved-stem tulip motif on the front and reverse. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark. Desirable size. Excellent condition with a minor nick to one handle. H 7 1/2".
