Glazed Redware Bowl with Two-Color Slip Decoration, Mid-Atlantic origin, possibly Hagerstown, early to mid 19th century, flaring bowl with semi-rounded rim, the lead-glazed interior and rim decorated with alternating bands of cream-colored slip interspersed with two wavy trails of copper slip. Wear to interior including some knife marks and small flakes. A thin 3 1/2" crack from rim. A 7/8" rim chip and minor rim chip. A 3/4" chip to underside at edge. Light wear to exterior. H 2 7/8" ; Diam. 10 1/2".
