Scarce One-Gallon Salt-Glazed Stoneware Jar, Stamped "J. SWANN / ALEXA," Alexandria, VA origin, circa 1820, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and rounded rim, impressed with John Swann maker's mark at shoulder. Chips around base. Otherwise excellent condition. H 9 1/4".
