Rare Three-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Large Cobalt Leaf Decoration, Stamped "LOCK HAVEN, PA," circa 1875, semi-ovoid jug with tooled shoulder and squared spout, brush-decorated with an exceptionally large design of a leaf composed of numerous strokes. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark, capacity mark, and handle terminals. Striking decoration and rare maker's mark. Spout chips. Staining to surface. H 14 3/4".
