Fine One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "T.H. WILLSON & CO / HARRISBURG, PA," circa 1852-1858, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, brush-decorated with a flowering plant bearing three blossoms. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark. Desirable early Harrisburg maker's mark. Excellent condition with a very faint 3" horizontal surface line at base, not visible on interior. H 10".
