Four-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "N. CLARK & CO / LYONS," NY State origin, circa 1830, highly-ovoid jug with semi-squared spout, brush-decorated with a drooping floral motif below a script "4." A horizontal hairline through handle and a horizontal surface line to top of handle. Very minor in-the-firing spout nicks. Some fry to cobalt. H 17".
